My name is Tara, but you can call me Tea.
I’m Tara, and I try not to come off as rude and snooty by saying this, but that’s TAR-uh not Tear-uh. Since I can’t actually introduce myself in person I feel like I should get that out of the way first so you know me better.
I’m a 26 year old who never stays for her entire 12 month lease. I recently moved to Montana on a complete whim, after spending some time in Wisconsin (where I also moved to on a sudden whim). I just feel like there’s so many places out there and they all have their own character and style that I want to experience myself. I like seeing what gives the different places their charm and keeps residents staying viciously loyal to their town. I also have a penchant for collecting things, whether that’s states I’ve lived in, capitols I took a selfie in front of, or beer labels.
I also collect those location filters on snapchat. I know, I have a problem.
I’m currently working on my latest adventure of traveling around the state visiting all the local breweries of Montana! My goal is to get them all stamped in my passport before 2017.
Update! As of November 11, 2016 my passport is complete! It took me 4 1/2 months to make it to all 64 (66 if you count the breweries with two locations) of the presently open breweries in Montana.
So welcome to Tara Tea Travels! Cheers to adventures in traveling and trying new things!
I also have a hobby of painting, and I’ve opened up a couple of shops for people to buy my art.
